the most recent movie that i have watched so far is 2 faces of my girlfriend;which i REALLY recommend to everyone who likes a good romance movie but not one made of all flowers, rainbows and sweet kisses. this movie has comedy/romance/depth all rolled into one. i went with Rochelle after the Japanese high school visit and she got a free special screening for 2. but i really wouldn't mind spending $7 to go watch this movie without the free tix. so go and watch this movie!its a korean movie by the way and the lead actress is an actress that i like for her acting and character (she's one of the main leads for by the way). so far all the movies and acting that i have seen by her are quite good.
and i was just searching for the website and synopsis for <2> so went to see the movies now showing and coming soon and it seems the list of movies i wanna catch is growing! i can see that dent in my wallet already...
so here's the list: 1. JUNO ----> which to me is kinda a "must watch" since it got so many rave reviews and awards and everything.
2. The Leap Years ----> i really wanna catch this movie ever sincei caught the trailer...it seems intriguing and interesting so its a yes.
3. L: change the world ----> not sure about this one but if any of my friends wanna watch and im in the mood then maybe.
4. Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Lost Skull ----> yes yes yes! im soooo a fan of the Indiana Jones series all thanks to my dad. and of course i dont mind watching for Shia Lebeouf either...
5. Sex and the City ----> not really sure about this either since im really not a fan of the cast at all but i have watched a few episodes of the series and it might be a nice change. of course no chance if the rating is R21...
6. Becoming Jane ----> ok so this is a movie that i wanted to catch but i already watched it somewhere else and the ending is not a happy (meaning couples dont get together or one of them dies or whatever) one so boo! no im not gg to catch it since im really all for happy endings!
7. Sky of Love ----> this is a Japanese movie but the movie poster caught my eye...haha. and some reviews given were good with like 4/5 so im really intrigued...
8. 27 dresses ----> ok so this is a movie that i already watched with Josephine quite long ago and i quite loved this movie and i dont understand why it didnt do that for some other pple...
9. Away from her ----> the plot really seems touching and everything so...
10. August Rush ----> quite interested in this one...story seems nice enough so i hope it doesnt suck if i really do watch it.
11. Step Up 2 : The Streets ----> haha ok sometimes even though the plot might suck or the acting is deplorable i like to watch it for the dance sequences and everything...so prolly might catch this.
12. Awake ----> wanted to catch this cos i quite like the cast but after reading the synopsis im quite sure i wont be watching this movie because to me its downright creepy! what with being awake during an operation and whatnot...same reason why i dont watch horror movies.
13. Things we lost in the Fire ----> dont mind catching this for the plot...seems interesting too.
14. Crows zero ----> looks cool! and i dont mind catching Oguri Shun on the big screen...and its a Japanese movie so its a plus for me.
ok so more than 10 movies to attempt to watch is really quite difficult seeing as most of the time i really can't find the right time to schedule properly with friends with our individual timetables are so haywire and keep clashing. and some movies im interested in which my friends refuse to accompany me (e.g. MELISSA LIM, although she has dragged me to some movies were downright atrocious before...).
anyways my friend's friend actually catches movies by herself sometimes so im thinking maybe i should make this a practice for myself too...saves quite alot of trouble really though it may seem weird when you're in the movie theatre by yourself. seems rather sad to a certain extent...haha. date me if you wanna catch some of the movies!
