tried the iced latte from Mccafe today because my mom ordered the wtrong item and decided that i really don't like it. definitely not my taste.
its too sweet and too bitter at the same time. and the sweetness really chafes my throat as well so i'd really rather stick to my coffee based vanilla frappe. i knew the taste was totally different from the frappe i usually drink and the colour was off too. what a waste...i was really craving for a nice fix of caffeine.
anyways baked the bailey's cheesecake today; haven't really tried it yet since i was waiting for the cake and stuff to cool and fell asleep instead.
and i told myself i was going to take pictures of the steps and ingredients and everything but i was so excited about mixing and everything that i forgot. HAHA!
these are the few pics that i managed to take;

so the batter was a little bit watery but what can i say...i'm still an amateur so i just went with it. though i mixed some of my previously baked chocolate chips with the oreo cookies.

tadah! bailey's irish cream! the recipe asked for quite a lot of it actually. about 1 cup, the taste came out quite strong in the end which i didn't really like.
also the recipe was meant for a bigger baking tin and everything so i ended up with quite a lot of extra batter.
decided to make it into tiny cupcakes with lotsa extra chocolate chips; which my sis says taste quite nice but i really don't know whether to trust her because i think she might be saying that so my feelings don't get hurt. haha.

my cupcakes!!! this one was the best looking of the lot and the others look a bit squished together, haha.

the end product! i wrapped it in aluminium foil since i decided to refridgerate for 1 day first.
conclusion: okay so my conclusion is that i'm only going to try this recipe once and that's it because the ingredients are just too expensive and unless i'm planning to sell it i really will be broke after a while.
and i hate the washing up! gosh there were so many things to wash up after the whole thing that i was a little put off and took away the satisfaction of the whole process anyway.
but all in all i guess the experience is ok. i shall move on to other conquests soon!
