i'm steadily rotting away at home with nothing to do in the holidays and my mood is half slack, a quarter wanting to work and a quarter wanting to shop my heart out.
but i don't have income therefore output is a definite no-no at this stage.
so the most interesting that i have witnessed recently is this:
i was at cuppage plaza with my parents at this small japanese restaurant (i conned my parents into treating me to dinner and a bag of famous amos cookies since im dirt poor) and this restaurant is quite authentic with many japanese regulars.
so at the corner of the place there is a book stand with comics, magazines, newspapers and such as reading material for the customers and then my mom piped in by saying "the magazines there have porn or something you know..."
and i was like "NO WAY! really???" i really didnt believe that there would be any of those magazines or pictures available.
then nearing the end of our meal my mom pushed my shoulder and nodded her head towards this japanese guy in his late 40s and lo and behold! there in front of him was a blown up picture of a naked woman.
i think she was wearing thongs but her boobs were all out for display and everything.
well colour me stunned.

like really stunned. and then the only thing that i could say was "NO WAY! -pause- NO WAY! -pause- MY GOD!"
i mean sure people look at porn and naked pictures of people but in public and so blatantly!
and in a restaurant while they are eating...
NO WAY! dirty old men...pfft.
